Here is the text of the letter sent to the Superintendent of Salerno on the campaign implemented by the Municipality of painting. Give yourselves the same questions were, for information, to the Mayor and the Head of the Technical Office. We hope to provide short answers that will be issued.

In recent weeks the territory of the City of Children is being implemented, by the Administration, a massive campaign of painting, using the only white, without taking into account: the context, the historicity of the typicality of the historical, artistic and architectural site.
This work has involved painting, for example, some parts of the upper part of the country including Macere Dry, a significant portion of the old town, less attractive, even the old "Watchtower of the Vicar", Via Garofalo.
While I believe that the City Council should schedule operations to the enhancement, preservation and recovery of the territory, I think it right to ask the following questions:

  The Superintendent, or Head di Zona, è a conoscenza di tali interventi e se sì, ha rilasciato autorizzazioni oppure ha dato indicazioni in merito?

  In assenza di un “Piano Colore” o di un mirato “Accordo di Programma”, qualora i suddetti interventi siano stati autorizzati dall'Ufficio Tecnico Comunale, può tale ufficio rilasciare pareri in merito senza il necessario coinvolgimento della Soprintendenza?
  


• 
  
  Ritiene Lei, dall'alto delle sue specifiche competenze, che il solo uso del bianco, adoperato indistintamente ed inopinatamente, a nostro modesto avviso, sulle superfici più varie e diverse, possa essere adatto ed appropriato per un territorio come il nostro, sotto tutela UNESCO, che presenta caratteristiche così particolari e peculiari?
